ROS 3D Entries: Anaglyph Viewer

Thumbnail image for 3Dturtle.jpgColin Lea's Anaglyph Viewer entry into the ROS 3D Contest brings a bit of 3D retro to our entries. Colored glasses for seeing 3D are an inexpensive way of seeing 3D content on a 2D screen. If you are able to see the data in 3D, you can become more immersed in the data that is coming from the Kinect. For example, you can build more effective teleoperation cockpits that let you take advantage of your ability to see depth. Add more Kinect cameras and you can start becoming fully immersed in a 3D world.

PS: Our skateboarding turtle says thanks!
